zero expression: day dreaming

i like Zero in her day dreams.
i completed 6 expression of her.
i will do those of Not today.

just received this bottle. it comes from germany (?), from G who is traveling in n.europe. it does not come by sea, it comes by air (par avion prioritaire).

i am fascinated by the bottle. the security guard, who kept the bottle for my mail box, was even more fascinated about that.

lightning

we had a thunderstorm last night.
i saw a perfect lighting flashed across the sky.
i tried to capture lightning, but... (you see nothing except, the lights of the buildings.) i will use my EOS and shutter trigger next time.

when i was trying to capture the lightning, ...

張媽媽: 你做緊咩嘢?
我：影閃電。
張媽媽: 你影到嗎?
我：影唔到。
張媽媽: 梗係啦，你隻手點快得過閃電喇。

ah lam adjusted the contrast and colur of my picture and turned it into a wallpaper.
it looks really nice...
i like the eyes of Not and Zero.
they must have a lot of sleep cos they don't have eye bags and dark circles.

my friend and i wrote a review on my favourite books "exchange diary" by 張妙如 (miao) + 徐玫怡 (meiyi). i like their stories and illustrations. strongly recommend miao and meiyi's books.

not experiment: color pencil

after pastel experiement, i tried color pencils.
coo looks nice as well.
but the yellow tone is over,
so coo becomes sun-tanned coo.

not experiment: pastels

i tried pastels last night.
the result is very messy.
but i like the soft color tone.
also i used hair spray to settle the pastels.
after using the hair spray, the color became solid and bright.
amazing...

cultural shock

just finished reading 158公分的陽子小姐.
it's a book with text and illustration.
i like the cartoon figure of 陽子.
a figure with a round head and eyes.
the book is mainly about cultural shocks that 陽子 had as Japanese living in Korea.
her illustration of fear and shock is just fantastic.

i visit the web page where she posts her illustrations. unfortunately, it’s written in Korea. so i just click all the icons on the webpage. guess what? there is a picture of 陽子.

she does not look like her comic figure at all.

F&A gave the angel after their visit to Australia.
I like the angel very much because it is an angel of learning. Have you ever heard of angel who enjoys learning? I haven't. That's the reason why I like her.

I like her so much that I take many pictures for her. Though she is speechless, she is expressive.
